Cynthia Heuser Rousselle was born in Montreal in 1941. Studies at Montreal’s Institut des Arts Appliqués, in visual arts as the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, then in art history at the Université de Montréal.
Seduced by sculpture, Heuser Rousselle perfects her training by attending and participating in various workshops, which allowed her to explore varied techniques and media: stone cutting, thermal compression moulding of glass, bronze technique…
The artist having established a solid reputation both here and abroad, her works can be found in many private collections, in Québec, France and in the United States, as well as at Ottawa’s Royal Mint.
