Jack Zhou studied Fine Arts at Beijing Union University, graduating in 1991.
Since completing his BFA, the artist has held many one man shows and appeared in countless group exhibitions across China and since 2002, across North America.
Mr.Zhou expresses his love for nature through action and movement in colour. The variations in seasonal light and finding the harmony between humans and the natural world are also important components to the work.
He has won many awards in China and more recently Juror’s Award at Impact 2007 and the Ontario Arts Council. He is a member of the Ontario Society of Artists and Visual Arts Ontario.
His work appears in many collections including The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Canada; CCTV Station and the Fine Art Museum, Beijing.
